Registration opens Monday 8/13.  $325 deposit due 8/30.  Estimated cost (including air): approximately $985 (double occupancy).

Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival, Harlingen, Texas and Lower Texas Coast.  Morning birding trips at Festival (you choose trips); afternoon trips in area.  Saturday driving up the coast to Corpus Christi, birding North Padre Island, etc.  Sunday a Whooping Crane boat tour out of Rockport.  Trip begins at Corpus Christi International Airport on Tuesday at 1:00 pm and ends there on Sunday at 3:15 pm in time for the flight to New York.

Registrars will make car, festival and motel arrangements; participants will arrange their flights.  Registrars will pay for van, fuel and festival costs from deposits (there may be an additional charge or a refund).  Participants will pay for air tickets, motel rooms, meals, personal items and boat trip.  Bring walking shoes or boots, warm and cool weather clothing, sunscreen, eastern North American field guide, binoculars and scopes

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
September-October 2008 – 8 days including 2 travel days.
Dates to be announced (depending on pelagic schedules).

Registration opens Monday, July 7, 2008, closes Monday, July 28, 2008.  E-mail for information May 2008.  
$400 deposit due July 30, 2008.  Estimated cost (including air and two pelagic trips): approximately $1500 (double occupancy).  Limited to 8 (plus leaders).  We will use two minivans (5 in each).  Trip begins and ends at San Francisco International Airport.  Monterey Bay pelagic trip and either a Cordell Bank (Bodega Bay) or a Perpetua Bank (Newport, Oregon) pelagic trip.  Birding at Pt. Reyes, etc. in Bay Area and either (i) Sonoma Coast and Sierras or (ii) central valley to the Klamath Basin and on to Oregon (additional $250 flight).
