This volunteer creates and posts content to our three social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. We do not have an active TikTok account, but we are open to starting one. Content will be generated to promote speakers/presentations, events, fundraisers, and field trips. We would love to have additional content created that would educate and entertain our members and social followers. This might include bird facts, birding tips and tricks, information about our favorite hotspots, trip leader and member profiles, conservation notifications, and general bird/naturalist world information. Much of this content can be created in advance and scheduled to be posted in the future using our social posting tool. The effort required is 4-8 hours a month or more if you are ambitious and have good ideas to implement. We are open to having multiple people share the workload and collaborate on elevating our social content.
