Public Transportation: Participants can use public transportation to arrive at the meeting location.
Meeting Point: After your registration is confirmed, the Registrar will share directions, the exact meeting place, and time with attendees.
Schedule: Expect to start in the early morning and work for about 3 hours with option to go longer.
Relative Difficulty: Expect to walk about two miles on paved and unpaved paths, with some moderate inclines.

Trip Description: This workshop will cover the basics to get you started in bird photography, jazz up your eBird checklists, or move you to the next level if you are already taking photos but are not entirely happy with the results. We will cover photography fundamentals and then work on techniques together to build our skills. This collaborative workshop will encourage knowledge sharing among the small group. Bring your camera and a positive attitude. The group size is limited to 12.

Please read The Linnaean Society of New York COVID-19 Field Trip Guidelines before registering.

Registration: Registration opens at 9 am on Monday, October 7. After that time, click here to register. Registration closes at 6 pm on Wednesday, October 16. Members (and those who have applied for membership) will be prioritized over non-members.
